discussions in #lubuntu-devel re: blank password wanted me to have a system to explore.. using this box & current ISO, but no real testing outside of research on our issues (that impact INSTALLS! thus won't impact me here)
(closing and passing this test.. system is good, will only re-open if a bug is encountered which I doubt)

primarily boot test; but may use this awhile
yeah very slow to boot, but known issue
once booted operation was good; general play with batteries (connect/disconnect power; the device has two batteries) & operation good
firefox; add ublock.origin then have it stream videos whilst I played.. all good

another primarily boot test; some testing; as second monitor is connected to this box so will concentrate on dual display testing; adjust to match my setup, then drag windows around, maximize, unmaximize etc & generic user type behavior

primarily boot test; this will be very short only

| guiverc | 2023-04-16 01:11 | | lenovo g560 (i5m-480, 4gb, i915)
primarily boot test; and some random usage (different things to other boxes)
I hadn't looked at the time boot started as I didn't expect issues... but it failed like a failure to boot so I could understand users reporting issues... This isn't new; I mention this box at https://discourse.lubuntu.me/t/slow-boot-times-of-lubuntu-22-04-lts-on-s... but once the live system was booted; experience was good.

| MSI Modern 15 (Intel Core i5-10210U, Intel UHD, 32 GB RAM) #Bare-metal, not Virtual Machine
Same thing I do every day. Grab the new image, check the manifests, boot the new daily image, open each application, go through them to look for bugs, and inspect some applications more than others. I verify the existence of the bugs I regularly report. I change screen resolution, keyboard language input, connect to the internet, play media files (both online and off), and browse the 'net for a few pages, etc.
