Test-case Live Session Start

Boot up the image
Kubuntu boot screen is displayed
When the installer starts select your language in the left column
Language is selected, all labels are changed to translated versions
Press "Try Kubuntu" and wait for the Live session to start
The default desktop is displayed

Test-case Live Session Usage

Use and execute the default applications found for the desktop enviroment being run
All applications should function without error


If all actions produce the expected results listed, please submit a 'passed' result.

Lenovo X230i i3-3120M,4GB,Intel HD graphics,WiFi,Ethernet,Bluetooth,320GB hd
"Try Kubuntu" or "Install Kubuntu" dialog did not appear
I received the error message

"Installation failed - KDialog \n
The installer encountered an unrecoverable error.
A desktop session will now be run so that you may
investigate the problem or try installing again"

The deskop then appeared but selecting "install Kubuntu" produced no result - hence I mark this as a failure

dell [optiplex] 990 (i7-2600, 16gb, nvidia geforce gt 6600 gt)
(exploring sddm & video issue primarily, using hirsute for comparison)

booting kubuntu daily (hirsute) & it reports "Installation failed - KDialog \n The installer encountered an unrecoverable error. A desktop session will now be run so that you may investigate the problem or try installing again"

session is horrid; graphic glitches are a PAIN. mainly black triangular shapes that appear to flash/move as I do anything (esp. move mouse-pointer).. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xserver-xorg-video-nouveau-hwe...
I could use this box with this issue; quickly giving me a headache with all the flashing...

i spent some time in terminal (black background was less annoying than bright colors) filing bug, firefox (bug mostly filled in elsewhere), then a few logouts, login again..
I did not do much else; the screen flashing/glitches quickly made me feel slightly ill/headache-y so I shutdown box. no real issues (ignoring graphics)
