(I forget what was last installed, nor fs; btrfs was I think last but don't think this box)
NOTE it didn't allow me to click download-updates; and has me in NY not melbourne; a switch to terminal has a local IP address; 15.227; ip route looks good & I can ping ISP. I'm regularly unplugging the internet cable so I wonder if cable was not fully plugged in, and my looking as to why I couldn't click updates caused connection????
reboot; seleted old lub install, looks good (~50% of hdd)
reboot; new Xub install, (smaller partition & looks good), update notification
I'll now reboot and explore why I didn't see my LOCATION, or be able to click the DOWNLOAD UPDATES checkbox.. yep same on second run...(cannot click DOWNLOAD UPDATES
