I have noticed that 25.10 beta and final RC have a tendency to hang/freeze when installed on some systems with integrated Intel graphics.
The solution to this is to : 1.Use the "Safe Graphics" install option when installing 25.10. 2. When booting for the first time use GRUB to edit the kernel parameters to include "nomodeset" 3. Once booted, edit /etc/default/grub so that GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT has the word "nomodeset" in it.
However, I believe that this is so serious that if the boot process is run using the "Safe Graphics" option, the above measures should be performed automatically.
Another improvement for the installer would be to have an option to _not_ have "quiet splash" in GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT
Apologies to the installer developers for adding extra work...
