hp prodesk 400 g1 sff (i5-4570, 8gb, amd/ati cedar radeon hd 5000/6000/7350/8350)

(i think that's the box; otherwise hp prodesk 600 g3 sff or hp elitedesk 800 g2 ... as black hp box with slightly different externals but no 400/600/800 visible)

on changing monitor.position to match my top/bottom arrangement (swap primary monitor required) i have lost lxqt-menu on my-top monitor (ie. obmenu now that display), no wallpaper on my-top monitor etc.. this won't impact most usage though, and can be resolved (worth it on an install, I'll ignore it now; my primary box uses xfwm4 to avoid this appearing)

samsung 700t1c-p10aat (i5-3317u, 4gb, 3rd gen.core.intel.graphics.4000)

session was cut short, so not a load of testing here..
- read errors on media; I had issues earlier on dc7700 with this thumb-drive (cost me ~20+ mins) and problems now on this device, so thumb-drive going bad probably.. .sony device had no issues on 3 installs

Optiplex 9020, 16 GB RAM, 1 TB disk, Libreboot (BIOS) firmware. Almost all applications launched and appeared to function correctly in basic smoke testing. Redshift appears buggy though.
