hp dc7700 (c2d-e6320, 5gb, nvidia quadro nvs 290)
unexpected graphic; prior install was xubuntu + lubuntu (alongside) but `ubiquity` is showing only 'ubuntu 20.04' (I can't tell which) & ubuntu-mate besides that & mentioning 3 smaller partitions hidden.
xubuntu installed EFI partition; then extended (or this was created by lubuntu's 2nd install) - with lubuntu + xubuntu inside that (I can't recall which is largest)... I'll accept what it offers as test only results are xubuntu+lubuntu+ubuntu-mate
reboot, lubuntu looks untouched (OS wise; ignoring disk space difference) reboot, xubuntu looks untouched too reboot & new ubuntu-mate looks good, adjust displays to match setup & quick checks & all great
(on adjusting monitor.settings to match setup; background is blocky-somewhat-flashy (on changes or blinking of cursor) on that display.. ignoring that as not a installer issue
