hp 8200 elite sff (i5-2400, 8gb, nvidia quadro 600)
VM install on vbox; fedora 29 (5.0.3 kernel) host
opened file in /usr/share/backgrounds successfully
mounted usb drive (plugged into host)
i created account "Not Me" with password; then realized it was my password; I was unable to change it so deleted & re-created but it kept failing. created under new username .. locked session
on locked session my screen went dark; this will be my vbox setup - trying to rectify.. (screen is there, I can see it if I click X-close & get warning; so it's my setup issue)
i cannot see the login screen so i skipped the alternate login screen, logging back in as me so locking session works correctly, but I didn't test my alternate login account as without screen I can't navigate the login to switch users..
i can login to alternate account I've confirmed, everything appears to work, as i see thunar resuming on login - however I can't know I'm following instructions perfectly due to login screen dark & my use of it being guess-work - i did all it said to do, but loads of iffy-guesswork in this result sorry (constant hitting of X-close button to view display)
