Straight installation with updates and third party drivers (no live session).
Installation went fine until the very end. Installation finished and up popped "You must restart to use your new installation." Clicked OK and the graphics closed. Then two familiar text warnings appeared:
[7.619140] tpm tpm0: A TPM error (6) occurred attempting to read a PCR value.
[7.680556] tpm tpm0: A TPM error (6) occurred attempting to read a PCR value.
(These also pop up every time I boot. One is from disconnecting the touchpad; not sure about the other.)
But shutdown froze at this point. No "Remove installation medium and press enter," no disk activity or other activity. The screen was responsive; pressing Enter moved the cursor down a line. I left the warnings onscreen for a few minutes and then did a hard shutdown. Which is not good, but the installation apparently succeeded.
Pardon the fake bug number. This may be entirely my problem, but it may not, and I don't know how to file a bug report for a problem that occurs like this during shutdown. I do want to flag it as a potential problem, so I made up this bug number.
