| Using forcepae
The installation stops early: The installer text menu does not even get started (only the syslinux language and the boot option menu). This is not normal in this computer (older versions of the alternate installer and also the mini.iso work smoother).
Error message:
mount: mounting /dev/sda on /media failed: .....
After several minutes I was positively surprised: The installer text menu enters at language selection, and the configuration can proceed ...
Mounted partitions on the target drive (must be unmounted)
Now I reached a deal-breaker, the same as I found recently for the vivid mini.iso: the alternate installer does not think there is a kernel, that works: the same as bug 1422675
The installation could proceed without installing a kernel, but failed later on with a red screen complaining that the installation step "Select and install software" failed.
