| This system, Xubuntu is the host OS for, installed on the bare metal.
End of install ended a bit odd, a mix of text mode shutdown sequence for most of the screen, then a Debian @ symbol icon graphically in the middle of the screen. I had not seen Xubuntu mixed text/graphics at the end of the install before.

| Installation went very smoothly within VirtualBox PUEL running on Xubuntu 12.04 x64.
I created three partitions, as follows:
200M pri ext4 /boot
10G log xfs /
10G log xfs /home
Completing the install, one crash immediately occurred, which has been well logged already: 1282509
I will note that the installer crash which occurred commonly with Xubuntu 12.04.x x64 when installing in VirtualBox and the keyboard / mouse does NOT stay focused on the VM screen for the entire install process appears to have gotten squashed, at least with this first test install there was no trace of it.
Bravo Xubuntu team! :-)
