| 1163908 applies even to manual entries where a partition size is entered manually. It correctly splits the partition in two, but the sizes are swapped. If one has a 50 GB drive and makes a 40GB partition one gets a 10GB partition for the new system instead. This can lead to insufficient space which can lead to an unsuitable or even unusable system. Running out of space on /var/tmp or /tmp or in / during package adding can lead to a really broken system.
