no issues with wifi again today...
i was called away, on returning black screen as expected but a PICOM HAS CRASHED message on returning (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/picom/+bug/2018620) but I see nothing in /var/crash, operation is as expected... except for message... I'll mentally note that only, and ignore for this test.

Same thing I do every day. Grab the new image, check the manifests, boot the new daily image, open each application, go through them to look for bugs, and inspect some applications more than others. I verify the existence of the bugs I regularly report. I change screen resolution, keyboard language input, connect to the internet, play media files (both online and off), and browse the 'net for a few pages, etc.
