(it occurs on installed systems; expect it here too; has been reported before on live) but was UNABLE TO create it.
--- SUSPICION NOW I used the wrong thumb-drive & was using 20.04.4 & didn't realize it... (I can't recall wallpaper.. I'll re-test this)

error on starting; 'file /boot/ not found' & another line; sorry phone-camera isn't working so I'll not file a bug report; I've not seen the message on other devices; and this device is a pain to boot USB media from so not using it much lately; but I'll look again when I see it.
firefox was slow to start as per last test; in fact on first start I waited a long time and it never opened; no doubt because I was using finger on screen & likely missed what I was aiming at; but with it as slow as it is currently I assumed it was still loading.. connect 5ghz hidden wpa2 wifi
general exploration.. (user type tasks, much in browser) & no issues discovered

really just a boot test; this box is beside my primary desktop so is easily watched..
Clicking About & then clicking an LINK... after which there is a VERY LONG pause before a link opens... I think a release note maybe required b/c of firefox snap usage; and it being somewhat slower to start on initial run. My USB has no LED to show read/write so it does look like it didn't work..

| (Virtual machine on an i5, 16 GB RAM, onboard Intel HD Graphics) #VirtualBox 6.1
Same thing I do every day. Grab the new image, check the manifests, boot the new daily image, open each application, go through them to look for bugs, and inspect some applications more than others. I verify the existence of the bugs I regularly report. I change screen resolution, keyboard language input, connect to the internet, play media files (both online and off), and browse the 'net for a few pages, etc.
If I have time, I then spend some time using the live instance to do my regular computing, as I'd expect a user to do. I login to sites, browse around, maybe even leave a comment at a site or two, and generally make sure the default browser and default applications work as expected. When I test something more thoroughly, I go through all the options, create, delete, and edit files.
