hp 8200 elite sff (i5-2400, 8gb, nvidia quadro 600)
experienced the issues mentioned earlier on dc7700 (first test) so reported via https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubuntu-mate-meta/+bug/1955445 (details in report, now I gotta go look for duplicates as I believe it's occurred before..)
some other graphic issues on adjusting displays occurred that fit neither report; screendumps currently exist (on live session) but they don't fit either bug tagged thus far, so I hope duplicate search will find another where it applies.. - https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mate-control-center/+bug/1944661
lenovo thinkpad x201 (i5-m520, 4gb, i915) this will be minimal, boot & only a few random apps started
lenovo thinkpad sl510 (c2d-t6570, 2gb ram, i915) another minimal test; boot & ensure it's working (few random apps started only)
dell [optiplex] 780 (c2q-q9400, 8gb, amd/ati cedar radeon hd 5000/6000/7350/8350) another box where I could not re-create the issue i experienced with borders covered by panel on dc7700, but otherwise this session was good. only issue being adjusting screens with Monitor.Preferences dialog - see bug. caja to mount local drive so music playing in the background this session; various random apps..
(I'd like to keep using this session.. but I was going to test other boxes too.. so won't.. wanting to keep using the session is a good sign - box responds well with Ubuntu-MATE)
**** On loading some apps; esp. libreoffice I get a few flashes as logos appear centre of screen, then are quickly gone & replaced by full-screen window... this isn't ideal behavior (user is stuck thinking what was that) but doesn't impair functionality/usability.. not good maybe if some users have seizure type medical issues were flashes are not good.. some logos/flashing images were rather bright/white
dell [optiplex] 755 (c2d-e6850, 5gb, amd/ati radeon rv516/x1300/x1550) i noticed an issue post-install on dc7700 BUT was unable to re-create it on this box. this box play was good; change of wallpapers; change various settings, firefox & watch some news in window, maximized, f11 & fullscreen etc..
hp dc7700 (c2d-e6320, 5gb, nvidia quadro nvs 290) not really a Ubuntu-MATE test; but I'll use this thumb-drive to confirm memory test is still functional at maybe-ubiquity menu (ie. ubuntu base test; as I've opted to install to this box instead)
