Install using Calamares (entire disk) in Lubuntu Desktop amd64 in Groovy Daily (archived)

Proceed in your native language if you wish. Instructions will remain in English

Boot up the image and select your language
The system boots properly and loads the language selection menu
Press enter over the "Start Lubuntu" text
The system should boot to the live desktop
On the desktop, click the "Start Lubuntu XX.YY" icon to open the installer
Select your language/localization in the dropdown menu and click "Next"
The installer should be localized in your language
Select your timezone and click "Next"
A map should appear allowing you to select your timezone, and if the internet is connected, should already be accurate
Select your keyboard layout and click "Next"
Test the keyboard layout in the given box, which should be set correctly
Select the "Erase disk" radio box and click "Next"
A partition layout should be shown which uses all disk space, and the bootloader should be installed to the correct disk
Enter details about the main system user and click "Next"
All details should be correctly filled in
Confirm the details you entered throughout the install are accurate and click "Install", then "Install now"
All details should match what you entered
The slideshow should correctly display, and when the installation is done, a menu should display asking you to confirm your settings
Allow the machine to reboot
The system boots properly and loads into Lubuntu showing the username you entered

If all actions produce the expected results listed, please submit a 'passed' result.

calamares wants to install to 3.5" 1.44MB floppy (& boot loader will get
written to /dev/fd0 if sda selected) (#1873128)

dell [optiplex] 755 (c2d-e6850, 5gb, amd/ati radeon rv516/x1300/x1550)
I'm starting installer, floppy was inserted during boot.. won't complete install though
NOPE at final screen it's
"Install Lubuntu on ext4 system partition /dev/sda9
Setup ext4 partition /dev/sda8 with mount point /home
Install boot loader on /dev/fd0"

install was not performed; I cancelled and this result is on calamares summary screen

dell [optiplex] 780 (c2q-q9400, 8gb, amd/ati cedar radeon hd 5000/6000/7350/8350)
testcase: replace a partition (sda2)
(calamares showed New York, but exploring at terminal, my router[dhcp] had sent this box to sink as well, I didn't fix (ip route) since internet is not part of this testcase)
reboot, new system looks good
(I'll test debian bullseye/sid is good at least (return it's ownership of mbr), maybe focal, maybe bionic but may skip the rest..)

reboot, invalid passwd at sddm, rejected, valid passwd accepted
looks good, all disk utilized etc

testcase: full disk, encryption, BIOS, no internet, + auto-login
(I remembered this box as graphic issues with sddm, so I'll re-test the AUTO-LOGIN again and won't notice the annoying-flashing)
reboot, enter invalid key, won't boot
reboot, valid key, auto logged in, all space utilized & looks good (encrypted ssd etc)

testcase: install alongside (about 2/5ths of disk space allocated)
also doing AUTO-LOGIN after install
reboot, login old system & all looks good (history, wifi & minor prior test evidence..)
reboot, select new system (at grub) & it was logged in as expected, all good
