Proceed in your native language if you wish. Instructions will remain in English

Boot up the image and select your language
The system boots properly and loads the language selection menu
Press enter over the "Start Lubuntu" text
The system should boot to the live desktop
On the desktop, click the "Start Lubuntu XX.YY" icon to open the installer
Select your language/localization in the dropdown menu and click "Next"
The installer should be localized in your language
Select your timezone and click "Next"
A map should appear allowing you to select your timezone, and if the internet is connected, should already be accurate
Select your keyboard layout and click "Next"
Test the keyboard layout in the given box, which should be set correctly
Select the "Erase disk" radio box and click "Next"
A partition layout should be shown which uses all disk space, and the bootloader should be installed to the correct disk
Enter details about the main system user and click "Next"
All details should be correctly filled in
Confirm the details you entered throughout the install are accurate and click "Install", then "Install now"
All details should match what you entered
The slideshow should correctly display, and when the installation is done, a menu should display asking you to confirm your settings
Allow the machine to reboot
The system boots properly and loads into Lubuntu showing the username you entered

Lubuntu 20.10 calamares "failed to create a partition table" (#1877733)

Acer [Aspire] E3-111-P60S (Pent.N3530, 4GB, Intel HD Graphics, Realtek RTL8111/81681/8411 GB Ethernet, Qualcomm Atheros AR9462 Wireless, Bluetooth Atheros A315-53, 500 GB hd)
Testcase:BIOS,no encryption.full disk,internet
Normal install looking for bug 1851188 or 1877733 this running on the machine that encountered the original bug report 1851188
The installation failed (unable to create partition table) the installer was then rerun without rebooting and installed the system with no errors .
As the original attempt was unsuccessful the result "failed" was selected.
Rebooted-logged in and all normal.
These comments and the session log will be added as a comment to the bug report 1877733.

testcase: full disk, bios, no encryption, internet
more exploration of https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/calamares/+bug/1851188 or

i'll use `sudo -E calamares -d` only to start calamares now; day 6
this completed successfully, post install tests all good

Dell [Optiplex] 7010 ( i5-3470 , 16 GB, Intel Graphics 2500, Intel 82579LM GB Ethernet ,1TB hd)
Testcase:BIOS,no encryption.full disk,internet - running in VirtualBox
Normal install looking for bug 1851188 or 1877733
Reboot,login.full disk utilized,run Firefox - all good no problems encountered

clean install, reboot, login, all disk utilized etc
