testcase: full disk, bios, no encryption, internet
I don't see need to do installs this early, however this is for purposes of https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/calamares/+bug/1851188 brought up by https://discourse.lubuntu.me/t/error-install-20-04/1087 & it still occurring (status is 'fix released' yet this box had the issue repeat with final RC for 20.04) I didn't get response on IRC over changing "fix released" (weeks ago, twice) so this will be a new bug if it re-occurs, or will need to be marked duplicate of old bug... race bugs like this with many stack issues are a pain :(
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/calamares/+bug/1877733 (groovy re-file)
~day 5 testing - nah failed again today (3 of 5 days failed with exact same install)

(this site has issues.. so I'll stop updating here, however it looks like `sudo -E calamares -d` install is working so I'm not expecting issues... I used a simple password that will hopefully let me login this time; I'll return here only if probs & hope this site works for me)

~day 5 testing - another try today as @Leok suggested something

After booting, I left the box for 20-22 secs before starting. (another try, no stopwatch)
failed...

Walked to my main box (another room), entered results here, returned to kitchen (where d755-8 is) and exited calamares (error still on screen). waited ~10 secs then restarted installer.

This time it worked correctly??? session.log uploaded to lp (I can now PASS this test!)
