dell [optiplex] 755 (c2d-e6850, 5gb, amd/ati radeon rv516/x1300/x1550)
testcase: "Custom partitioning with separate /home"
i'll have to re-test where partitions are created (another time); I'm using this box as it's different box (on testing checklist), and will use separate /home partition, but be a 'install using existing partition' (ie. no format) install as well...

eeek... I had a floppy inserted (didn't notice) & it's wanting to me to partition floppy drive?? whilst I can select another device.. bootloader is still wanting to go to /dev/fd0

repeat install; this time no floppy was inserted when I started `calamares` & many more options are offered (replace a partition, install alongside - not offered last time)

on reboot; lubuntu 21.10 looks normal
on reboot & login to newer 20.04, an unusual sddm theme is present; I recall using a box in support with sddm & this must have been it (a shame I didn't boot into box before install)... parts of plasma are also there (because no format was used; or 'install using existing partition' type install) packages i had installed were re-installed. all checks are good though..
