testcase: whatever... BIOS, manual partitioning...
on this install I will REPLACE a partition. disk contains sda1 & sda2 installs; MANUALly selecting SDA2 to be used for / (KEEP so no format)
I forget to start with `sudo -E calamares -d` so exited (was up to name/username/password screen), removed session.log & started install again...

I didn't expect any issues... instead long error that won't fit on display etc... https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/calamares/+bug/1909506

on reboot, at grub I could see this was going to fail to boot (grub didn't appear to have been changed), but I let it try to boot... plymouth appeared to be focal but box locked up... I was NOT even able to reboot using SysRq REISUB so really stuck...

testcase: manual partitioning, select prior install partition & use as / (KEEP or no-format)
I'll also try and `sudo -E calamares -d` for more details....
reboot & all looks good

hp dc7700 (c2d-e6320, 5gb, nvidia quadro nvs 290)
testcase: full disk, no encryption, internet, BIOS etc
(not expecting issues, purpose of this install really is a `ubuntu-bug calamares` for a valid install comparison report.... I might repeat install with the `sudo -E calamares -d` though I'll likely do that on a different box (will be more useful that way I suspect)
reboot & all looks good.. report found at https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1928279
