i3-3217U 1.8Ghz; 3rd gen core processor gfx; Broadcom BCM43228 (Lenovo ThinkPad X131e 3367 laptop).

Note: Wireless BCM43228 not supported in Live desktop bootup. Menu->Preferences->Additional Drivers suggested using "Broadcom 802.11 Linux STA wireless driver source from bcmwl-kernel-source (proprietary)." I had to connect to the network with RJ-45, that driver installation worked, and my wifi is functional.

dell [optiplex] 780 (c2q-q9400, 8gb, amd/ati cedar radeon hd 5000/6000/7350/8350)
pcmanfm-qt to mount hdd, navigate to folder of some mp3 & mkv files & have them play whilst I do pre-bed chores..
i also opened a few random menu items, and loaded a web page in firefox (since a specific music file opened firefox anyway) but minimal testing...
suspended system (vlc playing music video), waited, it resumed with no sound, but hitting 'next track' on vlc and sound resumed...

hp 8200 elite sff (i5-2400, 8gb, nvidia quadro 600)
continue opening all menu items; starting at office

I may have been a bit quick in system options, calamares (install) was still twirling when I opened next KDE partition manager & calamares has stopped - locked b/c of my actions???

nah - my bottom display has frozen; mouse, keyboard operate though and my 'top' display is normal. windows dragged onto my 'bottom' display leave trails varied by speed; a window from top is usable on bottom display, but display is very messed up (panel on bottom display is fine).

`sudo -E calamares` still appears in bottom panel, and in `ps`
I `sudo killall calamares` & everything is good again. (internet is slow; I've zsync & other stuff happening, could this be cause?? I'll ignore)

A view of .cache/calamares/session.log shows 04:43:21 Finished shutdown followed by errors 'os-prober timed out." and ("os-prober") is still running

I completed all programs opened to and including System..
A re-run of install, wait ages (web related I suspect) & exit & all good.

suspended system, waited, resumed with keystroke, all good.
pcmanfm-qt to explore hdd, open some random files using installed apps; media keys could adjust volume & mute/un-mute sound.
