lenovo thinkpad x201 (i5-m520, 4gb, i915)
another quick test primarily to see if i notice longer boot time (http://launchpad.net/bugs/1848333) & wifi connects correctly.
Because I don't time boots; I'd likely not ~90 secs longer; I do something else during boot (watching first only; and that's almost never a laptop/wifi-box). if it was slower booting, I can't say yeah/nah sorry
battery icons appeared legit; it quickly showed i needed charger so panel icons reflected what i did & charging..
connect 5ghz hidden wpa2 network; ping isp's dns router
firefox; visible fridge.ubuntu.com
of the little i saw; it looks okay

lenovo thinkpad sl510 (c2d-t6570, 2gb ram, i915)
I saw sododus' wifi issue (http://launchpad.net/bugs/1848333); so this boot is just to test wifi as other than ultracrap (install testing using wifi) it's been awhile since I touched wifi. However as I don't time booting; (start copy/pasting machine & .. into this log usually during boot) I might not notice a slow if only extra 90 secs
connect 2.4ghz hidden wpa2 wifi, ping isp's router
only very quick look around (external vga was connected; it looked appropriate but I ignored)

// box is handy; i'll test image-integrity on this box & quick 'live' test before installs
during check-disc-for-defects, background was 5:4 format so black to sides of blue background (monitor on this box is 16:10). on boot of actual LIVE it was all good though so ignoring...
firefox; stream news in window, maximized, f11 & fullscreen
open a few random apps from menu
