adjust displays to match setup (my-right is portrait-left tilted)
firefox; stream news in window, maximized, f11 & fullscreen on each display
pcmanfm-qt to open hdd & open files on partition using default apps
vlc wouldn't open so couldn't open mp3, mp4 etc - https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1842382
whilst using pcmanfm-qt in the portrait display; the right-click menu was opening above the pcmanfm-qt menu - ie. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxqt-panel/+bug/1810075 (upstream reported)
numerous programs were opened from menus (hence some of the issues above), sbut not all menu items were selected (about 20 menu items picked at random).about 8 file types were opened in pcmanfm-qt (some webm files played in firefox; but audio/video files failed due vlc issue) otherwise all good
I'm typing this later, there was one other issue (minor bug already reported on prior tests & upstream LXQt I think) I forget sorry. session was good with no issues (outside of no music due vlc)
suspended system, waited, resumed (alas no sound in firefox; refresh did not fix so I had to fix by toggling pavucontrol - https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1816394 ; this issue is not specific to lubuntu & seems fixed to similar model dells). on resume both displays covered by screensaver
