connect 5ghz hidden wpa2 network
firefox; stream abc news 24 in window, maximized, f11 & fullscreen
use fn-shortcut keys to adjust volume, mute sound, unmute, adjust brightness
i tried connecting external vga to device (hdmi output only) but no go & i'll blame hdmi-vga plug, or my non-digital vga so gave up on this
brief test only

// external vga monitor attached pre-boot
connect 5ghz hidden wifi (wpa2) using nm-tray 0.4.1 :)
laptop brightness keys are effecting laptop & external display - I didn't expect that !! :)
firefox; add ublock origin, stream local news (via youtube) in small window, maximized, f11 & fullscreen on each display
media keys (vol up/down/mute) worked to adjust volume
battery was used at start of test, but I connected power very early into test... i have now disconnected power & it took ages before panel widget switched to - ; this is likely my poor condition battery (the "." changed to "-" when 100% dropped to 91% .. much much slower than I expected; but it could just be this poor laptop's battery; dropping quicker now, 82%, 80%, 71%, 62%, 53% (watching battery info window); inconsistent jumps but full is listed at 14% so likely battery-health is to blame
adjust monitor setup so vga is below laptop
pcmanfm-qt to explore how menu reacts now; fine on laptop, it's not good on now-bottom display, but at least showing and usable.. menus appear at very top of display
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pcmanfm-qt/+bug/1812342
Menus display, just not as expected. this is an improvement! (note: my resolutions differ so it may not be it but I don't want a new bug report)
I'm suspicious this is changed behavior, & not new - thus old bug report used.
easier fit is https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxqt-session/+bug/1804329 but it appears to be happening less; after window has moved i need to move it away from where window is moved to, to get it to jump/move again
