hp 8200 elite sff (i5-2400, 8gb, nvidia quadro 600)
open firefox; maximize and return to window on each display
monitor settings, change displays so default-right is [directly] below default-left display; closer to my setup
re-attempt maximize windows on each display; good on default-left (now top) display, only heading + single-line on bottom display, or https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxqt-session/+bug/1809201 which is a KNOWN UPSTREAM bug .
firefox; stream local news, in window, f11 & fullscreen (skipping maximize); after fullscreen the window moves to partially on top-display & most on bottom-display (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxqt-session/+bug/1804329 but KNOWN UPSTREAM bug), no issues on top/default-left display (inc. maximize) as expected
media keys work as expected.
ctrl+alt+T to open term, drag to bottom display & maximize (oops, no term window due bug 1809201 so unmaximize & drag it large... sudo apt update
-- my primary focus today is exploration of brightness..
`lxqt-config-brightness -i` (& -d) increases or decrease brightness of both displays
`lxqt-config-backlight -i` however does nothing
`pkexec lxqt-backlight_backend --inc` responds "Error:/sys/class/backlight is empty (no driver found" (further notes on this at http://pad.ubuntu.com/1n2p6kr6h5)
suspended system, waited, it woke (keyboard) & resumed session with sound
