firefox; stream local news in window, maximized, f11 & fullscreen on each display
ctrl+alt+t works (needed to run lshw to get sys info for my first line, I've already shutdown my primary system)
more exploration of sound settings
open ubuntu-studio IRC option, Ubuntu Studio forum & results as expected.
suspended system (parole & firefox playing), waited, power-button resume & session continued
in exploring sound - two crashes (no ill effects, window closed just before I would have closed anyway);

hp 8200 elite sff (i5-2400, 8gb, nvidia quadro 600)
change display so display2 is below display1, and 2 is primary; moved main panel to bottom of display2
firefox; start streaming of local (au) news and display in window, maximized, f11 & fullscreen on each display; alas i can't maximize window on my bottom display b/c of earlier display change (same as last xfce test as i recall; bug was https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfce4-settings/+bug/1829100)
media keys worked (vol up, down & mute)
ctrl+alt+t works to open term
play with "Ubuntu Studio Controls"
change wallpapers on each display (then change one back)
thunar to open my hdd parts, to have some files to play with
open some bird sounds in audacity & play a little, make magpie audio sound strange...
add another panel, increase workspaces & other play, explore appearance settings
start parole playing bird.audio.file & suspend system, wait then resume with esc, it wants passwd... and is keeping me out so security probably good.
got answer in #ubuntu-studio, so logged back in (logged out instantly, but i could log back in so assuming it was me), parole was stopped, but it had sound when i hit play
