Live Session in Lubuntu Desktop amd64 in Disco Daily (archived)

hp 8200 elite sff (i5-2400, 8gb, nvidia quadro 600)
one of my setups with vertical screens (one above the other), at first left setup to the default...
firefox; ublock origin & stream utube vid (window, f11, fullscreen) - done with window on both displays; hp keyboard media keys working (volume & mute; I don't touch most of them)
pcmanfm-qt (window & maximized) to explore my hdd's parts etc - done on both displays
used media keys to adjust volume (news still streaming via firefox but it's now in background) - all as expected;
featherpad & other random apps on menu opened & closed..
change monitor-settings to match my [weird] vertical setup (one monitor above other)
my left open pcmanfm-qt & firefox windows got pushed [mostly] off screen, but i was able to drag back correctly...
firefox now on lower (was right most monitor before change) & maximize goes full width but nothing viewable - https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxqt-session/+bug/1809201 but expected behavior if on other window..
pcmanfm-qt operates as expected on top (was left) display, but when moved to bottom (was right) display it warps/moves between displays on switching folders, or devices - https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pcmanfm-qt/+bug/1804329
with pcmanfm-qt on lower (was right, now lower) display menus do not display (normal behavior on other display) - https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pcmanfm-qt/+bug/1812342
vlc now playing mp3; it maximizes on 2nd display as per firefox..
screensaver changed to 1 min, it runs only on top display (not bottom which was right before arrangement altered), which continues to display counter of vlc playing music... ie. not hidden - https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xscreensaver/+bug/1814490

i adjusted monitor-settings back to left-right configuraton (as it was when booted) & re-did some of the above bug-report tests, the screensaver did not correct itself, with 2nd monitor unhidden & vlc counter continued counting up as played mp3, & muted firefox kept streaming abc news 24 (au news).. both monitors are dimming before screensaver draws, then bottom/right monitor resumed to display of firefox streaming news & part of vlc visible showing time-position of mp3... i've restarted screensaver-daemon & waiting... restart made no difference. logging out & back in.. (monitors left-right arrangement as like when booted, but changed a 2(+) times... this time both screens are covered by screensaver!!!

NOTE added later: I'm using Lubuntu 19.04 on this system (dell 960), same vertical layout as its the two screens/kbd just to right of the hp8200 & I have no issues on this (except screensaver one)

this will be failed ONLY because of GNOME issue. the other bugs mentioned will only effect the small number of users that have screen vertically positioned like i do (two rows of monitors, the top & bottom matching the keyboard/mouse below it, with desk having multiple keyboards/mice

starts with gnome session so logout & select lubuntu, then back in
pcmanfm-qt to mount & very briefly explore my hdd parts.
firefox; ublock origin & stream a little bloomberg (window, f11 & fullscreen)
explore menu & installs apps, open selected apps (do nothing but close),
muon package manager, search for rss - was looking for akregator but it wants to install tons of kf5 libs so I passed... looked elsewhere, featherpad correctly says installed (was looking for kate), got to kate & it wanted lots of kf5 libs - give up & (apply changes) install it... close & go to main menu & run kate from main menu, it opens looks valid so quit
change LXQt appearance - when I got to LXQt Theme I also noticed it changed wallpaper (a nice surprise I didn't expect) WM Prefs to add rollup & switch sides like I prefer.. all good
