open term, sudo apt update (eth; & `ip route` as this mac is not known), connect wifi, ping -I to verify valid using wireless, firefox, add ublock origin, start latest ubuntu.podcast (no video), so switch to abc.news (melb.city.incident)..

(had trouble getting usb-thumb-drive recognized), booted up, adjusted screens to match my setup (laptop monitor on left, vga on right), sudo apt update (check ethernet), firefox .. i ended test due to I/O errors, switching to tty had scrolling squashfs errs - fault was the thumb-drive connection; so I'm passing this test (failing my hardware!)

install 19.04 icon :) , ping using eth, connect wifi, ping -I wlp3s3, featherpad to create blah.c, gcc to compile, execute, vim to make change, gcc... , featherpad warning, firefox, add ublock origin, youtube & watch brexit news (window & fullscreen), muon-software, install xbill, play it a little, ... shutdown
