dell latitude d610 (pentium m, 1gb, intel i915)

tested only b/c of [gnome-]software issue, booted up, ethernet works, connected wifi, sudo apt update; sudo apt dist-upgrade (not all upgrades installed - out of space). ran gnome-software, searched for wallpapers (only apps found), so searched 'gedit' & tried to install that... [gnome-]software abend/crash.... otherwise good (more in lp bug report)

lenovo thinkpad sl510 (c2d-t6570, 2gb ram, i915)

to confirm to reject prior gnome-software issue.. booted using same thumb-drive/iso; but looked at list --upgrading after sudo apt update; so dist-upgrade before running gnome-software test...

got same [gnome-]software crash on trying to install leafpad.. -- otherwise system was good

hp dx6120mt (mini-tower, pentium 4 dual core, 3gb, nvidia 7600gt)

i had an issue with [gnome-]software on last test, ignored it & kept going. this is a re-test solely to explore the software issue; re-zsync'd & re-wrote thumb-drive, booted & ran software (trying to install leafpad [small & I know it's name]) - software closes & "Invalid problem report - No such file or directory" appears.. (like prior test)... exploring - bug report made.

this test was successful EXCEPT for [gnome-]software
