| Maybe this old usb-creator-gtk bug or another one: anyway 'Segmentation fault' before the casper-rw file is created.
~$ usb-creator-gtk
/usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/gi/overrides/GLib.py:53: PyGIDeprecationWarning: threads_init longer needs to be called. See: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=686914
PyGIDeprecationWarning)
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
I installed usb-creator-kde (into the live session) and used it to create a persistent live USB drive. It worked, and the persistent live session works.

| Two days ago it was really nice, and now as Alpha 2 does not even boot :-(
I'm stuck with the plymouth dots, they changed color and stayed there. Without quiet splash I saw three failures:
1. cups (should not be a show stopper)
1. zRAM (probably not be a show stopper)
2. Lightdm failed to start, it was stopped and then nothing more happens.
Host + F1 brings me to the text screen and it is responsive. The network is running etc ...
lightdm 1.7.6 did not install but after update/upgrade to lightdm 1.7.7 it could start a working desktop environment.
the clock bug is still alive (at least in VBox).
