- Ensure the device is not suspended
- Ensure all messages are marked as read in the messages indicator
- From a supplementary device, send a text message to the SUT
- Incoming SMS shall be notified on screen
- If the calling number is in the addressbook and if the number isn't hidden by the operator, the name of the originator shall be displayed; if not, the phone number when not hidden by the operator
- The messages indicator shall turn blue
- Pull down the messages indicator
- The recieved message shall be seen from the indicator
- Open the phone application
- The recieved message shall be seen from the indicator
