| As I said in the bug report, I wanted the entire disk encrypted, but was unable to encrypt $HOME. I will add the bug # to the i386 test too, since now I remember the same thing happening.

Kate, Konsole, Discover, Dolphin, System Monitor, and System Settings all launch and pass the five-second test. I was able to launch Discover via the Panel to apply the waiting updates (including at least some Plasma 5.9.4). After rebooting my VM again, Kinfocenter reports Plasma 5.12.2, KDE FW 5.43. and Qt 5.9.4
