Install steps of the provided test case completed successfully, but the boot into the actual system results in the monitor going to standby during the boot of the kernel, and the prompt to enter the passphrase is never visible to me.

Entering the passphrase to the blank screen works [after guessing when it is needed], and once KDE starts, the monitor starts again.
