| I installed Kubuntu 9.10 i386 in Virtualbox (the closed-source edition. I upgraded it with 'update-notifier-kde -d -c', and after the upgrade I can't login, I got a black screen with error messages. This bug was reported, so I didn't file a new bug. After I fixed the broken packages in recovery console, I could login. Because the VM I can't enable the effects of kwin. I've not found any other issues, so I think the upgrade passed. In Kickoff I have only logout, lock screen and hibernate options.
