Intrepid Alpha 6 Install Fails at kdm or gdm (#275045)

Performed basic testing.
Choose "English".
Selected F6 - removed "quiet", added "acpi=off", "noapic" in separate tests.
Selected "Try Kubuntu without changing ... "
All the outputs from the boot process displayed through "Enabling Bluetooth"
Screen blanked, flashing cursor displayed in upper left of screen, no further activity occurred.
Tried "ctrl-alt-backspace", "ctrl-alt-delete, "alt-F(various)" without response fronm the system.
Manually powered off the system.

Failed basic test.

KDE starts then crashes after a few seconds during initialization panel.
Then it tries to start again and again...
System:
DELL Latitude D500
Intel Centrino with 855 chipset and integrated graphics, 1Gbyte RAM
