| old-database | 2007-08-23 21:40 | | ran in "guided-largest free space" mode, and everything appeared okay until rebooting. First partition was WinXP, so I guess GRUB was installed on the MBR. BIOS gave the error "unable to load operating system" when booting from the hard drive. I was able to access GRUB by booting from the live CD, then choosing "boot from first hard disk". Selected Windows, which I think overwrote the MBR, because I could never get GRUB back again after that.
