hp dc7700 (c2d-e6320, 5gb, nvidia quadro nvs 290)
testcase: replace partition
(alas I failed to update this with the partition I replaced...)
two of the prior installs look untouched (sda1 & sda2) as I booted both
new install booted too & the file-meta-data for sda3 fits a new install; and screens were not-setup for my box as other two systems fitting a new install so all checks appear perfectly. sda3 fs-metadata fits the new install correctly.
