boot testing my focus today; but I like this box so will play as well
other than initial hassle getting screens aligned (me issue; portrait-right tilted), the gnome experience on this box was great. firefox & music vids playing in the background as I explored system...

boot test primarily; opened a few apps which felt a little slow, but box lacks resources (esp. RAM) but everything worked... mouse control was great on this box

boot test & very brief play only (wifi connection made to 5ghz hidden wpa2 wifi network, ctrl+alt+T to open term, ping internet & good) -- mouse moves really quick using joystick thingy out-of-box

| hp 8200 elite sff (i5-2400, 8gb, nvidia quadro 600)
may play here as well; not as nice a box but it's okay
adjust screens to match; open random apps & general play - much nicer on this box
opening software centre & it sticks on "downloading firmware update metadata"... what bug report relates to that; I've seen a number filed relating to this issue - using https://bugs.launchpad.net/snap-store-desktop/+bug/1944768
only issue was the snap-store/ubuntu-software

ubuntu 20.04 daily boots with no (or warped) background, selecting other
background has warped wallpaper (#1854621)

| dell [optiplex] 755 (c2d-e6850, 5gb, amd/ati radeon rv516/x1300/x1550)
primarily boot testing; this box doesn't like graphics so will try & avoid that
(a number of times [at least twice so far] I hear the floppy drive spin up... floppy is in the drive for QA-test purposes only; 3rd time spin up..)
excluding warped background behind the many-ubiquity try/install question; then no-background after that .. it looks good
quick play at menus, touch slow on this hardware; but operation is good
