(I'll likely try this box twice; this will be as I normally have it... I'll then change BIOS settings to try and enable uEFI and test again; nope couldn't work out how to configure BIOS; possibly this is too old.. will have to look at d960 when I next reboot it)

I spent awhile in BIOS/uEFI settings and this system is in uEFI boot mode & booting normally; no issue on this box once again

Same thing I do every time. Boot, change keyboard and resolution, check existing bugs, open and close all apps, check random apps for deeper functionality, check internet, stream media, and shutdown.
No new bugs discovered. Same as the last time.
