Test-case Live Session Start

Boot up the image
Lubuntu boot screen is displayed
When ubiquity starts select your language in the left column
Language is selected, all labels are changed to translated versions
Press "Try Lubuntu" and wait for the Live session to start
The default desktop is displayed

Test-case Live Session Usage

Use and execute the default applications found for the desktop enviroment being run
All applications should function without error


If all actions produce the expected results listed, please submit a 'passed' result.
If an action fails, or produces an unexpected result, please submit a 'failed' result and file a bug. Please be sure to include the bug number when you submit your result.

hp dc7900 (c2d-e8400, 4gb, intel 4 series integrated i915)
boot test primarily; dead batteries in the cordless-mouse so I was limited to keyboard use
(two accessible USB ports; 1 with hirsute.media, one for keyboard as didn't have batteries for cordless keyboard & mouse.. I opted USB keyboard)

lenovo thinkpad x201 (i5-m520, 4gb, i915)
connected hidden wpa2 (5ghz) wifi, sudo apt update
adjust volume using laptop buttons, disconnect power cable & expected beep & panel battery indicator adjusts showing running from battery, reconnected power cable etc...
generic user type stuff & all looks good

motion computing j3400 (c2d-u9400, 4gb, intel mobile 4 series)
this appeared (subjective) to take ages to boot up.. but it got there.
two batteries showed in panel; looked valid on power/no-power etc, wacom pen worked as expected... some minor play around & all look good so passing.

dell [optiplex] 755 (c2d-e6850, 5gb, amd/ati radeon rv516/x1300/x1550)
poor choice of box; I'll do an install later today on this box; but ISO was downloaded last night so I really want to check it's still the current daily... boot & minor queries only - latest ISO
pcmanfm-qt to navigate to install systems directories; opening random files using default/installed apps (jpg, png, pdf, txt, mp3, wav etc)

MSI Modern 15 (Intel Core i5-10210U, Intel UHD, 32 GB RAM) #Bare-metal, not VM

Same thing I do every time. Boot, change keyboard and resolution, check existing bugs, open and close all apps, check random apps for deeper functionality, check internet, stream media, and shutdown.

No new bugs discovered. Same as the last time.
