Test-case Live Session Start

Boot up the image
Xubuntu boot screen is displayed
When ubiquity starts select your language in the left column
Language is selected, all labels are changed to translated versions
Press "Try Xubuntu" and wait for the Live session to start
The default desktop is displayed

Test-case Live Session Usage

Use and execute the default applications found for the desktop enviroment being run
All applications should function without error


If all actions produce the expected results listed, please submit a 'passed' result.
If an action fails, or produces an unexpected result, please submit a 'failed' result and file a bug. Please be sure to include the bug number when you submit your result.

i need to apport-collect on this box b/c of bug on installation QA-test, the live test right now has the same issue - https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/casper/+bug/1925314

connect hidden wpa2 5ghz wifi, ctrl+alt+T to open term & sudo apt update
open a number of random apps at menu, minor exploration of system

dell [optiplex] 780 (c2q-q9400, 8gb, amd/ati cedar radeon hd 5000/6000/7350/8350)
adjust displays to match my setup (with numerous missteps); landscape + portrait
open random apps at menu, drag from display to display, maximize & un-maximize, minimize etc
thunar to open internal drives, find files in $HOME on installed system and open using default/installed apps, also did same for external drive that was connected

connect 2.4ghz hidden wpa2 wifi, ctrl+alt+T to open term & sudo apt update
open a few random apps.. and minor user play

dell [optiplex] 755 (c2d-e6850, 5gb, amd/ati radeon rv516/x1300/x1550)
open random apps at main menu, play with right-click options on background (creating folder, open term or generic user play)
ctrl+alt+T to open term, sudo apt update.... all looks good

hp 8200 elite sff (i5-2400, 8gb, nvidia quadro 600)
adjust displays to match my setup, window manager changes this time (make it as I like it)
firefox; stream local news in window, maximized, f11 & fullscreen on each display, use media keys to mute/unmute, vol up/down etc
thunar to navigate to internal drives $HOME & open found files in default/installed apps (pdf, png, jpg, txt etc)
open a random apps

hp dc7700 (c2d-e6320, 5gb, nvidia quadro nvs 290)
adjust monitors to match my setup, unlock & drag panel to the bottom of the other display.. change wallpapers & other user type behavior
ctrl+alt+T to open term & "sudo apt update"
open a few random apps at menu
firefox; stream local news in window, maximized, f11 & fullscreen on each display
