dell [optiplex] 755 (c2d-e8300, 8gb, amd/ati radeon rv610/radeon hd2400 pro/xt)
testcase: install alongside with auto-login
install completed, login to prior hirsute install; and there is a gap between my monitors, not reflected in monitor.settings (adjusting displays to my setup is part of my first.boot assessment)... grrr https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/lxqt-session/+bug/1882411 (but not part of this QA-test; issue with prior install now evident)
finally reboot & login to new system & looks good too, until I discover the change of monitor.settings to match my setup has created the same space I noted on other system, so I am reporting it as a bug for this QA-test
