| dell [optiplex] 780 (c2q-q9400, 8gb, amd/ati cedar radeon hd 5000/6000/7350/8350)
adjust monitors to match my setup (swap left-right, my-right is portrait-left)
firefox; stream news in window, maximized, f11 & fullscreen
(had to re-route traffic at terminal, dhcp had routed me to sink

| lenovo thinkpad sl510 (c2d-t6570, 2gb ram, i915)
connect hidden wpa2 2.4ghz wifi
terminal & re-route internet (router had sent device to sink)
firefox; stream news in window, maximized, f11 & fullscreen; alas it was silent

| lenovo thinkpad x201 (i5-m520, 4gb, i915)
quick user play testing, connected wifi network (ping externally using eth & wifi)
firefox; stream local news in window, maximized, f11 & fullscreen using ethernet then pulled out ethernet cable & after short delay it switched to wifi ... news was muted (I didn't run this test on most boxes today; forgot)

this box appears to be having trouble booting ... but it maybe just slow
eventually came good, operation as expected. both batteries showed in panel & appeared correct
ethernet worked (ping isp), connected wifi & it connected (hidden wpa2 2,4ghz) & ping'd isp
wacom pen operation was as expected.

pcmanfm-qt to navigate to hdd & install apps using installed apps
(vlc was muted; so https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1899719 needing me to unmute in pavucontrol-qt)
I'm starting installer, floppy was inserted during boot.. won't complete install though
NOPE at final screen it's
"Install Lubuntu on ext4 system partition /dev/sda9
Setup ext4 partition /dev/sda8 with mount point /home
Install boot loader on /dev/fd0"
