sony vaio svp112a1cw (i5-9400u, 4gb, intel haswell-ULT)
same gnome-disks written image, but with secure boot off it'll boot.
the problem is ISO won't boot with SECURE BOOT enabled.. the method of writing doesn't matter (same result for dus/mkusb & gnome-disks anyway)
quick play with system, no graphical issues this time :)

dell [optiplex] 755 (c2d-e6850, 5gb, amd/ati radeon rv516/x1300/x1550)
image written this time with gnome-disks (not `dus`)
first boot, really just boot & quick play to confirm image is good
this is another box with shared display on my primary box so easily watched during media-check

on boot, background is all black (no wallpaper)... I've reported this before, but can't find bug
changing wallpapers causes glitched wallpaper as background, inconsistent though, some are badly glitched and unrecognizable, others only portions are unrecognizable.
