MINIMAL TESTING, primarily to prove media is good & system boots, before I trying boot on dc7700 to look for boot-bug.. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-cdimage/+bug/1886148
(I expected this box to boot!! wtf!)
I'm listing this instead as http://launchpad.net/bugs/1883040 as it's wanting me to download from URL to boot instead of acting like thumb-drive isn't there.
NOTE: I expected this thumb-drive to boot & not have issue with media, so it's possible the media is actually faulty, and the response is VALID... If there are no subsequent issues with this bug report, it's probable that media write failed, or ISO/operator error (me) is at fault..
I also downloaded media a few hours ago, and it's possibly now the prior ISO, or I ended up with part-yesterday & part-today's ISO??? The date/time on the download page (http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntustudio/dvd/current/) fits during the hour+ of download, and I'm wondering if that's the reason for this issue...

this is the reason for download, it's to test for https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-cdimage/+bug/1886148
This boot acts as expected, I get flashes on thumb-drive before the grub on the hdd install appears... ie. media is ignored, just like lubuntu & other flavors for this box.
this is a different result to what I got on hp 8200.. I believe this result is legit bug
NOTE: HOWEVER I also downloaded media a few hours ago, and it's possibly now the prior ISO, or I ended up with part-yesterday & part-today's ISO??? attempt to boot...
turn on, press <F9> to select thumb-drive, but it boots HDD with only slight media.
no thumb-drive flash visible on this thumb-drive (this ISO is too big for one with decent LED I use with lubuntu) but I believe this is issue lubuntu has... due to slight delay after pressing enter before the hdd-grub is read & shows... just like lubuntu does (but yeah it's very subjective, and not as conclusive as the LED flashes very visible on my 2GB thumb-drives..)
