Test-case Live Session Start

Boot up the image
Ubuntu boot screen is displayed
When ubiquity starts select your language in the left column
Language is selected, all labels are changed to translated versions
Press "Try Ubuntu" and wait for the Live session to start
The default desktop is displayed

Test-case Live Session Usage

Use and execute the default applications found for the desktop enviroment being run
All applications should function without error

ubuntu 20.04 daily boots with no (or warped) background, selecting other

dell [optiplex] 755 (c2d-e6850, 5gb, amd/ati radeon rv516/x1300/x1550)
boots up with BLACK background, no wallpaper
on changing wallpaper it's just a blocky mess as if corrupted files are used for images, this doesn't apply to all images though. I opened term & `dmesg |grep squashfs` shows no errors (check disc for defects was run before booting & passed earlier anyway).

hp 8200 elite sff (i5-2400, 8gb, nvidia quadro 600)
adjust displays to match my setup
files; explore my hdd & open some files in default apps
some user play (change wallpapers etc)
i could access web sites via firefox (but couldn't stream youtube local news?? vids .. I'm too used to flavors & the non-free..) once universe/multiverse, restricted-extras installed as expected...
firefox; stream local news in window, maximized, f11 & fullscreen on each display (using nouveau driver)

hp dc7700 (c2d-e6320, 5gb, nvidia quadro nvs 290)
adjust displays to match my setup, general exploration & play
ctrl+alt+t to open term, ping ubuntu.com
change wallpaper & some user type play
in files, explored external hdd & opened some files using installed apps (jpgs opened in firefox etc)
