hp dc7700 (c2d-e6320, 5gb, nvidia quadro nvs 290)
adjust displays to match my setup (one above the other)
open a few windows (term, couple of pcmanfm-qt so I have detail on screen..)
screensaver flurry hides both desktop, but glitches with black-white or stuff from desktop leeking onto display..
This test session is mainly letting screensaver run (different ones) to see if others are also 'choppy' & letting screen detail bleed thru onto screensaver.
minor glitch in fireworkx but nothing from my hidden screen, could be just related to the 'flash' of exploding

fireworks and how my card deals with it... ie. not a code bug, just less than ideal effect of my card

flipflop - I'm getting color at top of bottom monitor; like I get in LXQt often despite no detail being close on that display... screen positioning?? tried changing position of screens (to ensure no overlap; was none!) and still occurs.. I think it's detail from top screen appearing on top pixel-row of bottom display. Upstream LXQt have blamed openbox for this.

in play with screensaver; adjusted so my displays were in different orientations... with my-top display listed as being bottom-display, and my-bottom listed for top - xscreensaver only runs on one display, ie. http://launchpad.net/bugs/1814490 (fliptext single-line of pixels is on display not hidden)

With displays setup LEFT-RIGHT - I have ONLY A SINGLE DISPLAY hidden by xscreensaver... If I switch left-right; both are displayed. I've only noticed this behavior before using vertical alignment; I'd like to mark it CRITICAL; but I've made package adjustments (xfwm4 --replace is running..). I've killed `xfwm4` (I lost my ability to switch windows!) then ran `openbox --replace` and still xscreensaver is hiding only single display - thus changing it to critical.

my attempt to find others impacted by bleedthru (from my work display) hasn't occurred outside of flurry; but I've been selecting randomly..
adding xscreensaver-screensaver-bsod (it's my most common); still looking for choppy/jerky behavior..

dell [optiplex] 755 (c2d-e6850, 5gb, amd/ati radeon rv516/x1300/x1550)
left to sit idle (flurry/screensaver runs as I work on UWN)
firefox; stream youtube (window, maximized, f11 & fullscreen; as I work on UWN; i added ublock.origin early)
pcmanfm-qt to open hdd, open random files using installed apps & other random stuff
suspended system, forgot about it... eventually noticed flashing so it was woken with power button, screensaver running, using pcmanfm-qt I opened a mp3 and sound was present
all operations were as expected
