on completion it rebooted to ISO/thumb-drive again due to no remove prompt (this is a minor issue, but http://launchpad.net/bugs/1837934; I've mentioned it before in #xubuntu-devel where it was known (or heard of) as I recall)
on restarting & removing thumb-drive & login -- "Incomplete language support" (still no ethernet connected; so I connected, clicked run-now, error and it offered to 'update cache" which I accepted...i accepted changes & they downloaded...applied...
looks great; all disk used etc...
