dell latitude d610 (pentium m, 1gb, intel i915)
i didn't run every default-app; I tried to mount my partition (had issues, so used gparted to fsck) & open some files using installed apps (not much found - pdfs, txt)
opened a random app from each menu category
connected to 2.4ghz hidden wpa2 wifi
firefox; stream local news in windows, f11 & maximized & fullscreen

laptop media keys would not adjust volume, but they would mute sound (not unmute) - ignored. additional note: I had inconsistent results with xubuntu 18.04.3 test later with this and discovered it works if pressed really hard, so most likely the crap keyboard

battery indicators worked (battery was used in part, power connected for part)
laptop suspended, waited, it resumed & continued streaming news with sound..
i connected external vga - worked as expected..

play with a few menu items
pcmanfm to open hdd part & open some files in default apps (only txt & pdf there as everything else was links to nfs)
firefox; stream local news on small window, maximized, f11 & fullscreen
media keys worked on this device (volume up, down, mute, unmute)
suspended system, waited, it resumed sessions (streaming news etc) with sound
