| dell latitude d610 (pentium m, 1gb, intel i915)
had an external monitor connected, so set up position to match (disable mirror)
test eth, sudo apt update; connect wifi, ping -I to confirm it works
firefox; add ublock origin, stream national news, bloomberg.. (window, f11, fullscreen)
volume & mute fn key worked to control sound on firefox
featherpad to create blah.c, gcc to compile (errors), fix compile & execute
machine will be left streaming & to be used after this, but passing now (will only add more if issues)
later noticed screensaver running on laptop display, but external-vga was showing the last thing I had on it (term, settings-window & background ).. let it occur again & same result. rebooted & did integrity check on thumb-drive (good), re-testing now.. have asked if worth lp.bug.report on #lubuntu-devel -- raised
