I tried to run Lubuntu 18.10 on dell 755 (desktop) & hp dc7700 (small form factor) but both failed to boot due "ehci-pci 0000:00:a.7: dma_direct_map_sg: overflow 0x000000016e3f3000+2048 of device mask ffffffff" messages - please refer lp bug 1794922
No problems - booted up USB on Dell Optiplex GX620 with 1GB RAM . All ran well and applications opened fast and smoothly.
thinkpad t43 laptop, 1.5gb ram, pentium m; only limited testing but worked for everything I tested on it (tested >7 days ago so an older daily-image) -- because of dx6120 nouveau_pushbuf_kick issue I retested on t43, but it uses radeon (not nouveau). regardless another short test; no issues...
dell latitude d610 laptop, pentium m, 1gb ram (ps: i've been testing this regularly; so this is NOT a single test. updated daily images booted from thumb-drive over >20 days, tested 15+ mins each time, then laptop left on streaming news channel)
hp dx6120; pentium 4 (pae, i686, dual-core), 1.5gb ram.
Test went really well at first. Slower to boot than d610, more messages (acpi bios error (bug) \_sb.pcio._.. that I ignored assuming it's an outdated bios or something...). I could add packages, but issues when I got to falkon (nouveau_pushbuf_kick)
